The Iowa Association of Business and Industry announced that its president Nicole Crain has been appointed to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Committee of 100. Crain joined ABI in 2011 and was named president in 2025. The Committee of 100 is a distinguished group of chamber executives and business leaders from across the country who advise the U.S. Chamber’s board of directors, enhance lobbying and coalition work, recommend programming, and strengthen outreach to the business and chamber communities. “It is an honor to represent Iowa on the U.S. Chamber’s Committee of 100,” said Crain in a prepared statement. “I look forward to collaborating with other chamber leaders to shape policies and initiatives that strengthen businesses both in our state and across the nation. This opportunity allows me to bring Iowa’s business voice to the national stage and contribute to meaningful discussions that impact our economy.”
