You could say that an exhibit debuting next month at the Science Center of Iowa (SCI) took 67 million years to create. SCI’s newest exhibit, “A T.rex Named Sue,” will feature a cast of the world’s largest Tyrannosaurus Rex specimen and explore how paleontologists reconstructed the dinosaur’s life. The exhibit will also feature a dig pit, video footage and interactive displays. The museum will be closed to the public from Jan. 22-25 to prepare the exhibit  to open on Feb. 2. SCI also announced that beginning Feb. 4, SCI also will amend its regular hours of operation and be closed Mondays from Labor Day through Memorial Day. “This change reflects an effort to better provide the community with enhanced science programming, special events and facility features,” SCI said.
