Nominations for Borlaug field research award now open

Borlaug Award for Field Research and Application, which is endowed by the Rockefeller Foundation. Launched in 2011, the $10,000 award recognizes science-based achievement in international agriculture and food production by an individual under the age of 40. The award ceremony will take place in conjunction with the Norman E. Borlaug International Dialogue and World Food Prize Laureate Award ceremony in October. The Borlaug Dialogue gathers global leaders and experts from more than 65 countries to address food security and agriculture issues. The recipient of the Borlaug Field Award is selected by an anonymous international jury, chaired by W. Ronnie Coffman of Cornell University. Nominations are due by June 1.
