Lead DSM is accepting nominations now through March 28 for the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute 2026 class. The Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute aims to equip leaders to be effective caretakers and changemakers in the community. Class members will spend nine months engaged in a curriculum that offers different views of Greater Des Moines, education on current conditions and challenges in the community, and enhanced individual and group leadership skills, according to a news release. Each year, leaders from private, public and nonprofit sectors of the community are selected to participate.
