The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce has announced the opening of event registration for its fourth annual Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Workplace Excellence Awards. According to a news release, the event aims to motivate more individuals and organizations to make progress on their journey toward inclusion, equality and belonging in the workplace and community. The stories of this year’s award recipients will be shared with an audience of more than 300 community members at the awards ceremony on Sept. 10. Businesses, organizations and individuals from across Central Iowa can view the categories and apply on the West Des Moines Chamber website any time before 5 p.m. on June 14. The award recipients will be announced in July. Registration for the event is now open.
