Know an organization that’s making strides in its sustainability efforts? The Greater Des Moines Partnership, the Center on Sustainable Communities and Metro Waste Authority will honor local organizations and leaders for their sustainability efforts in the Greater Des Moines area. Nominations for the Environmental Impact Awards will be accepted through March 25, and winners will be announced on Earth Day, April 18.

The awards were established to recognize organizations and leaders who exemplify environmentally sustainable practices. Awards will be given to individuals, businesses (large and small), community organizations, and the built environment (both new construction and remodels).
