The city of Norwalk has started the metro area’s first informative city podcast, “Know Your City,” which features Norwalk’s city manager, Luke Nelson. The podcast series aims to keep Norwalk citizens informed about “hot topic” issues within the city. The topics will range from discussions on city leadership and the importance of each department to city budget information, tax questions and concerns, and new business developments. The podcast provides an introduction to the series in the first episode before diving into Norwalk’s capital improvement plan basics in the second episode. The third episode reviews details about the new Norwalk Central development. And in the fourth episode, Lindsey Offenburger, Norwalk’s city clerk, joins Nelson in a discussion about the boards and commissions in Norwalk and the process for citizens to follow if interested in serving on one.
