6450 LLC of Ankeny paid $2.23 million for a storage unit facility at 5499 N.E. 14th St. owned by Store it America LLC of Newton. The 7.4-acre tract is zoned light industrial and includes nearly 40,000 square feet of office and warehouse space. 6450 LLC, whose registered managers are Blake Pagliai and Bret Nehring. Pagliai is a Des Moines-area commercial real estate agent, and Nehring owns Nehring Construction in Des Moines. 6450 LLC received a $4 million mortgage on the property from Luana Savings Bank, records show.

CWP West Corp, an Arizona-based car wash service, paid $985,000 to QuikTrip Corp. for its convenience store and gas pumps located at 850 Army Post Road. In  April, QuikTrip disclosed it was closing some of its Des Moines-area stores.

Hurd Westown LLC paid $2 million to Iowa Teleproduction Center for an 18,432-square-foot office building located on 3 acres at 4800 Corporate Drive in West Des Moines. Richie Hurd, vice president of Hurd Real Estate, said the company plans to lease the building for office, medial or flex space. In addition, Hurd Real Estate plans to develop a lot on the south side of the property and market it for an up to 10,000-square-foot building that would be constructed to suit the needs of a lessee.
