Hubbell paid EBH Inc. $8.12 million for the three parcels of undeveloped land. Two parcels front Southwest 19th Street, east of Southwest County Line Road. The transaction was recorded Dec. 16.
Edged Des Moines LLC, located in Darien, Conn., paid Commerce Center LLC $3.7 million for nearly 36 acres on the southwest corner of Northeast 54th Avenue and Northeast 29th Street in Ankeny, records show. Most of the land has been used for farming. The transaction was recorded Dec. 16.
Matthew Selzer and Adin Selzer paid Dynasty Partners Homes LLC just over $1 million for property at 8024 N.W. 106th Court in Johnston, records show. The property includes a recently constructed one-story, 2,058-square-foot house. The transaction was recorded Dec. 16.

Developer Tim Rypma, doing business as 113 SW 8th Street LLC, has acquired a 1-acre parcel at 113 S.W. Eighth St. in Des Moines, records show. The parcel, which had been owned by Wells Fargo Properties Inc., includes a two-story, 19,250-square-foot building constructed in 1970. The structure is known as the Lortex Building. Rypma, in an email, wrote that the property, which includes a surface lot, will be used for overflow parking for the former Carpenter Paper Co. building, which is adjacent to the site. Rypma, who acquired the property for $650,000, is part of a group redeveloping the Carpenter building for office use. The transaction involving the Southwest Eighth Street property was recorded Dec. 18.
Joni Tessman and Laura Gerber paid Kimberley Development Corp. $1.2 million for property at 11305 N.W. 11th Ave. in Granger, records show. The 1.4-acre parcel includes a recently built 2,227-square-foot house. The transaction was recorded Dec. 17.

The city of Des Moines has finalized its acquisition of a parking garage at 1200 Mulberry St., records show. The city paid Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. $10.6 million for the property.
