NOTABLE TRANSACTIONS: Landus Cooperative sells Bondurant grain elevators for $1.89 million

268 wordsAll Latest News, Real Estate and DevelopmentDynamic Storage Bondurant East LLC, based in Okoboji, paid Farmers Elevator Co. (Landus Cooperative) $1.89 million for property at 2020 Second St. N.E. in Bondurant, Polk County real estate records show.
The group stopped using the elevators in 2021. Scott Turczynski, a managing partner of 101 LLC, is partnering with the city of Bondurant to redevelop the Landus Cooperative grain elevators and surrounding property. The proposed development would include a commercial district, an area to build townhomes, an indoor recreation complex, public gathering space, and the transformation of the grain elevators into space for condominiums, a hotel and event space. 101 LLC recently acquired 14 acres adjacent to the grain elevators. The transaction between Dynamic Storage and Landus was recorded Nov. 6.

RSMS 3 LLC, located in Altoona, paid Glauhaus LLC just over $1 million for property at 106 11th St. in downtown Des Moines, records show. The property includes a 9,570-square-foot one-story office/warehouse building constructed in 1945. The property is valued at $676,000. The transaction also included the acquisition of semi-improved land just west of the 11th Street property. The transaction was recorded Nov. 4.
Roderick and Gayle Hansen paid Frampton Homes Inc. just over $1 million for property at 1205 N.W. 29th Court in Grimes, records show. The property includes a recently constructed one-story house. The transaction was recorded Nov. 7.
Dallas County
Guad 2 LLC, located in Waukee, paid AJ Commercial LLC $5.59 million for property at 185 W. Hickman Road in Waukee, Dallas County real estate records show. The 1.6-acre parcel includes a 6,293-square-foot building that was recently constructed. Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant occupies the building. The transaction was recorded Nov. 6.
