APG Real Estate, located in Des Moines, paid BP Franklin LLC just over $1 million for property at 5800 Franklin Ave., Polk County real estate records show.
The property includes an 8,453-square-foot neighborhood shopping center built in 1959. Tenants include Simon’s, a neighborhood restaurant; Medicap Pharmacy; and other small retail shops. The property is valued at $376,000.
The transaction also includes a surface parking lot on the west side of the building. The nearly 0.2-acre parcel is valued at $50,700.
The transaction was recorded Dec. 1.
