The Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union 33, has acquired property adjacent to its headquarters along Bell Avenue in Des Moines, Polk County real estate records show.

The local acquired the property at 2403 Bell Ave. for $1.85 million, records show. The nearly 2-acre parcel includes a one-story, 37,970-square-foot building constructed in 2006. The local has used the building for various activities including for training.  

The union’s headquarters is at 2501 Bell Ave.

Sellers of the property at 2403 Bell Ave. include Jennifer Erbes, William and Jeannie Nielsen, Andrew and Stacia Nielsen, and Todd and Tamara Nielsen.
