Now the Wall Street Journal reports that toilet paper and paper towels are being snatched up by American consumers. Again. The rate is lower than consumer products on average but far from 2020’s toilet paper shortage when just 40% were in stock, write Kang and Terlep. Maybe this year, Santa will be filling stockings with toilet paper.
