According to this story from Business Insider, 70% of millennials, or those who will turn 25 to 40 this year, say they are living paycheck to paycheck. While 54% of Americans reported that they were living paycheck to paycheck, millennials were doing so at a larger rate, and this story examines some of the reasons. Living paycheck to paycheck is a reflection of needs and wants just as much as, if not more so than, income and wealth. Age and family status also can be major factors, the story finds, and that’s why millennials are struggling at such high rates.
