You may have read a story I wrote this week about applications the metaverse can have in the business world, but this story from Insider suggests there is work to do before the app becomes widely available. My story noted that the development of the metaverse is still in its early stages, but Insider is reporting it is experiencing some bumps out of the gate. Issues with quality and performance have been reported and employees may not even be using it. The story is based on information obtained by the Verge’s Alex Heath, from memos written by Metaverse VP Vishal Shah. According to the story, Shah told team members they will be going into lockdown for the rest of the year as they try to fix the problem.
