This article by the Pew Research Center about a recent survey it conducted shows that while Americans know a great deal about certain global leaders and institutions, many are less familiar with other topics. “Generally speaking, we see that international knowledge is related to attitudes about a host of issues,” the authors write. “People with higher levels of knowledge have more positive views of the European Union (EU), NATO and Israel.
