They were there to comment on a controversial sidewalk ordinance in the suburb, which has become known for its revolving-door city staff and unpopular propensity for issuing speeding citations. “They didn’t want to hear me. All they wanted to do was fight about the sidewalks,” Tollakson said with a laugh.
