133 wordsBusiness Record Insider, The Insider NotebookAt an awards show Aug. 23 celebrating the work of social media strategists in Iowa, it was only right to remember our state tweeter-in-chief: Chuck Grassley.
At the 2018 Hashie Awards by the Social Media Club of Des Moines, emcee Sam Hoyle first shared what, in his opinion, was “the greatest social media post of all time.”
“Windsor Heights Dairy Queen is a good place for u kno what,” Grassley tweeted in the long-bygone days of November 2014.
Although not as popular as, say, a famous people selfie at the Oscars, Grassley still racked up more than 6,000 retweets and a thread of comments from journalists and trolls alike.
