137 wordsAll Latest News, Innovation and EntrepreneurshipMarco Inc., a St. Cloud, Minn.-based company that provides copiers and printers, business information technology services, phone systems and other office services to more than 25,000 customers in the Midwest, has been bought by a Twin Cities investment company, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reported. Norwest Equity Partners, based in Minneapolis, bought Marco for an undisclosed sum in a deal that closed Oct. 30, according to a press release. Marco, which has 920 employees in 42 locations in the upper Midwest, will continue to operate with CEO Jeff Gau and the current leadership team. In the past three years, Marco, which has a sales office in Urbandale, has bought 15 companies and nearly doubled its workforce. Next year, the company plans to build a 30,000-square-foot building in St. Cloud next to its corporate headquarters to expand its growth.
