MercyOne officials will host an open house for the MercyOne Grand Avenue Family Medicine Clinic in West Des Moines on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. MercyOne leaders will lead a brief program starting at 5:30 p.m., with tours offered following. Light refreshments will be served. The new clinic, located at 1525 Grand Ave. next to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, opened this fall to replace an older location. The 10,000-square-foot clinic includes 16 patient exam rooms, a laboratory for on-site testing and a procedure room and soon will offer X-ray services. The clinic is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with walk-in acute care available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 515-226-0112.
