Roger Marin and Gretchen Holcomb have joined the leadership team of Osmundson Manufacturing Co., a family-owned Perry firm that produces high-performing tillage blade and cultivation equipment. Marin, who has been named chief operating officer, will oversee Osmundson’s expansion efforts, research and development and lead daily business operations. Holcomb, who has been named quality manager, will oversee the company’s quality management systems, quality control testing and documentation. “We want to grow the brand and pursue additional industries that our company hasn’t yet served,” Heather Bruce, Osmundson’s president, said in a prepared statement. “To do that, we need people that can help us to consistently improve.” Marin and Holcomb “will help us reach those goals and move the company forward on a larger scale.” Osmundson Manufacturing Co. was founded in 1903 as Osmundson Spade. Today, the company has about 100 employees at its headquarters and production facility in Perry. The company is adding a second manufacturing facility in Mayfield, Ky., that will produce 20-inch and larger disc blades for the agriculture and construction industries.
