The Greater Des Moines Partnership is expected to release its 2025 state legislative priorities on Dec. 3 during its annual Legislative Leadership Breakfast at Stoney Creek Hotel in Johnston. The regional economic development organization also announced in a news release today the slate of state legislators scheduled to appear on the event’s keynote panel. They include:

• Sen. Mike Bousselot, R-Ankeny
• Senate Minority Leader Janice Weiner, D-Iowa City
• House Majority Leader Matt W. Windschitl, R-Missouri Valley
• House Minority Leader Jennifer Konfrst, D-Windsor Heights

The 2025 Iowa legislative session will begin Jan. 13 and is scheduled through May 2. The Partnership breakfast is from 7:30-9:30 a.m. in the hotel’s Northwoods Conference Center and is open to Partnership investors and members of the Iowa Legislature.
