The Greater Des Moines Partnership will host Contracting Opportunities for Small Business, a supplier development lunch and learn event on May 1, in partnership with the Center for Industrial Research and Service (CIRAS) at Iowa State University and the Indianola Chamber of Commerce. This event will take place at Simpson College at the Kent Campus Center from noon to 3 p.m. Attendees will be able to connect with local government agencies and other businesses in the contracting space. The afternoon will include short briefings from each participating agency and companies highlighting how to do business with them followed by an opportunity to network.
