Passenger rail presentation on Jan. 31
The Transportation Management Association will host a presentation on more passenger rail service in Iowa.
Patricia Quinn, executive director of the Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority, and Geoff Fruin, Iowa City assistant city manager, will speak on passenger rail success stories from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Jan. 31 at the Renaissance Savery Hotel Ballroom in downtown Des Moines.
The presentation is free, but reservations are appreciated.
