Passport to Prosperity nominations due Friday
The Iowa International Center is accepting nominations for the 2019 Passport to Prosperity Awards through May 24. The annual award recognizes significant contributions of immigrants and refugees to Iowa’s cultural, business, educational and social landscape. Honorees will be celebrated at the organization’s Passport to Prosperity gala on Sept. 21 at Drake University’s Olmsted Center. For a second year, the Iowa International Center will also honor the contributions of a young immigrant or refugee, aged 17-24, with the Emerging Leader Award.
