The Professional Developers of Iowa has announced the three economic developers who will receive its Life Member Award. According to a news release, the award recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional service and commitment to advancing the economic development profession. The award recipients are: Dennis Fraise, president and CEO of the Lee County Economic Development Group; Steve Shupp, who worked for Alliant Energy for 20 years; and Maureen Elbert, executive director of the Kossuth and Palo Alto County Economic Development Corp.
