Saturday was the last day of business for Peace Tree Brewing Co.’s Des Moines taproom, after a June 18 announcement that the brewery would wind down its brewing operations. The original announcement said Peace Tree’s Des Moines and Knoxville taprooms would stay open for the “foreseeable future” by featuring guest beers. The June 21 post announcing the Des Moines taproom would close said the Knoxville taproom will stay open through the end of the summer.
