Peoples Co., headquartered in Clive, has acquired Lincoln, Neb.-based United Farm and Ranch Management, a nearly 100-year-old land management company, Steve Bruere, Peoples’ president, announced in a news release. Acquisition of the Nebraska company will add 15 employees and four offices to Peoples’ team and portfolio. United Farm and Ranch Management, with offices in Lincoln, Kearney, Norfolk and North Platte, manages more than 90,000 acres of farm and ranch land in Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri and South Dakota. The company specializes in the management of farmland, ranches and recreational properties, and offers real estate and appraisal services. Peoples Co. will retain all of the management company’s employees.
