Per Mar acquires Urbandale-based security firm
Per Mar Security Services has acquired Neighborhood Patrol Inc., a 38-year-old security firm based in Urbandale. NPI Vice President Mark Kirchner and 120 of the firm’s employees have joined Per Mar. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Per Mar was founded in 1953 and has been in the Greater Des Moines market since 1969. With the acquisition, Per Mar now has 430 employees in the area.
