Pleasant Hill took in less, spent less in fiscal 2010

An audit by Martens & Co. LLP shows that the city of Pleasant Hill had receipts totaling $12,981,782 for the fiscal year that ended June 30, a 10.89 percent decrease from fiscal 2009. Disbursements for the year totaled $12,763,580, a 2.81 percent decrease from the prior year.

As noted in a summary on Pleasant Hill’s website, the receipts included $3,850,080 in property taxes and other city taxes, $5,248,999 from tax increment financing plans and $2,026,704 from charges for services.

Disbursements included $1,960,915 for capital projects, $2,038,900 for public safety, $3,392,696 for debt service and $1,984,184 for business items, including water and sewer.
