The plan would allow creation of a tax increment finance district that would be used to defray the costs of Graham Group’s construction of nearly 1 million square feet of warehouse, distribution and possibly manufacturing space in the area. Graham plans a 675,000-square-foot building and a 312,500-square-foot building, according to a report to the supervisors. The county would provide a $425,000 economic development grant to defray the cost of bringing sanitary sewer and water to the project. The grant would be repaid by TIF revenues. Supervisors will consider the development agreement at their May 15 meeting.
