Polk County inviting input on Community Health Improvement Plan

131 wordsAll Latest News, Government Policy and Law, Health and WellnessPolk County has announced three opportunities for the public to provide input on its next Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). The plan will be based on the findings of the Community Health Needs Assessment, which was conducted in 2024 across Polk, Dallas and Warren counties, and feedback from the input sessions. Residents, local organizations and community leaders can attend to share about health issues they feel are important to address in the plan. Two events will be hosted virtually on May 6 from 5 to 6 p.m. and on May 13 from 10 to 11 a.m. The other event will be in person at Polk County River Place on May 8 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Registration for all three events is open now and available on the Polk County website.
