In preparation for upcoming military deployments that are scheduled for members of the Iowa National Guard and Reserve, the Iowa Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve will host several virtual Employer Center of Influence Update meetings over the next several months, beginning May 21. Employers can select one of the 45- to 60-minute meetings to get information about deployment schedules and soldier requirements, federal law pertaining to service members’ and employers’ rights, and how Iowa ESGR can help employers prepare for deployments and other types of Guard and Reserve duty.
