Proposed improvements to U.S. Highway 30 bridges to be discussed in Ames

156 wordsAll Latest News, TransportationThe Iowa Department of Transportation will be holding a public information meeting to discuss the proposed replacement of east- and westbound bridges on U.S. Highway 30 over the South Skunk River between Duff Avenue and Dayton Avenue interchanges in Ames. There will be an in-person meeting on March 9 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Harvest Vineyard Church in Ames, and a virtual presentation available from March 9 to March 20, which can be accessed by clicking on “US 30 bridges over South Skunk” at the Iowa DOT website. The virtual presentation will allow for a self-guided tour of the proposed improvements, and comments and questions can be submitted at any time during the comment period.
