Radio VP resigns
Terry Peters resigned this morning as vice president of Cumulus Media Inc.’s Des Moines radio operations. A longtime radio industry veteran, Peters said that he plans to join his wife and son in the operation of 7 Flags Event Center in Clive. Cumulus merged with Citadel Broadcasting Corp. last fall, and five Central Iowa stations were part of the deal. Several employees have been laid off at those stations in recent weeks. Cumulus representatives in Des Moines and at corporate headquarters in Atlanta, Ga., were not available for comment.
