Jon Raftis, an account executive with the Dana Co. in Clive, will receive the Young Alumnus of the Year Award from the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business for his service to the college. Raftis served on the college’s Young Alumni Board for five years, where he helped to formalize the board’s organizational structure, establish a mentoring program and strengthen the organization’s annual fundraising efforts. Raftis also co-founded the Young Alumni Board of the college’s Vaughan Institute of Risk Management and Insurance. He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the Tippie College of Business in 2010 and his MBA in 2015. The award will be presented during ceremonies on Feb. 12.
