Recipients announced for Aureon Community Development Grant program

Nine recipients shared $30,000 of grants, according to a news release. The program supports public and private nonprofit agencies working to enhance local communities. Grants range from $1,500 to $5,000. These grants, to communities including Albia, Creston, Dyersville, Newton, Osceola and Tama/Toledo, assisted with projects such as housing assistance, child care, construction of an outdoor community hub and more. The grants are given quarterly, and third-quarter applications can be submitted until Sept. 30 at aureon.com/about/community.
