Regents seek comments on ISU president search
The Iowa Board of Regents is seeking input about what qualities it should seek in Iowa State University’s next president. To make a comment, the public can visit www.presidentsearch.iastate.edu/qualities. “Although we’re in the early stages of organizing the search process, we think it’s important to hear from students, faculty, staff and other individuals who have an interest in Iowa State and the selection of the new president,” Board of Regents President David Miles said in a release. Additionally, the regents will host an open forum on the ISU campus on April 27 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Scheman Building, Room 275. The regents on Tuesday issued a request for proposal for consulting services to assist the board in finding a replacement for Gregory Geoffroy, who announced his plans to step down from the position by July 31, 2012.
