Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in Polk County is hosting a workshop series called Annie’s Project, an agricultural business course for women in the industry. Registration is open through Feb. 1, with the first class on Feb. 6. The six-part course will teach effective decision-making strategies in financial, human resources, legal, marketing and production. Each session will cover a farming-related topic and include brief presentations and discussions with ag professionals, hands-on activities and resources available for farmers and their business.
