The Central Iowa chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners will hold its sixth annual Women Mean Business Summit on Feb. 27. The summit’s purpose is to help attendees learn how other businesswomen have transformed themselves and their businesses. Speakers include Kristen Sharma, winner of the Iowa Small Business Development Center’s 2010 Deb Dalziel Woman Entrepreneur Achievement Award, and Maureen Collins-Williams, founder of Entrepreneurial Communities. The summit will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Sheraton West Des Moines Hotel, 1800 50th St. Registration costs $110 for chapter members and $140 for nonmembers, and can be completed online.
