Renaud steps down at Palisade
Christian Renaud has announced he will step down as CEO of data loss prevention company Palisade Systems Inc.
In his personal blog, Renaud noted a difference in vision between himself and the company’s board of directors, and said he decided the best action for the company was for him to step down and let the board put a new leader in place.
“I am confident that the company will ultimately be even more successful in the future,” Renaud wrote.
He will stay to help the new leadership in the transition.
“Christian did a great job for us, building a first-rate sales and marketing team and refining the company’s focus,” Adam Claypool, managing director of DeWaay Investment Banking, said in a Palisade news release. “We wish him well in his future endeavors.”
Palisade announced Tuesday that Don Schoen will take over as interim CEO. Schoen has served on the company’s board for nine years.
“I’m excited for this opportunity to take on this new role with Palisade Systems, and help take the company to the next level,” Schoen said in the company’s release.
