Reynolds appoints Kathleen Law to State Judicial Nominating Commission

Kim Reynolds on Friday announced the appointment of Kathleen Law of Des Moines as an appointed member of the State Judicial Nominating Commission, according to a news release. Law fills a vacancy created by the resignation of Dr. Christina Taylor. Law is an attorney at Nyemaster Goode PC. She received her undergraduate degree from William Penn University and her law degree from Drake University. Law has been active in numerous leadership roles in the Iowa State Bar Association. In 2014, she received the Award of Merit from the Association’s Young Lawyers Division. Law’s appointment is effective immediately.
