RMH Systems Inc., a Waukee-based industrial automation systems integrator, has announced the acquisition of DAK Solutions of Elmhurst, Ill. DAK Solutions is a material handling equipment distributor and industrial automation provider that has served the Chicago area and 45 states for 30 years, according to a news release. The acquisition will provide RMH Systems access to the broader Chicago area through the DAK brand. With six locations across the Midwest in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri and Illinois, RMH also seeks to strengthen its position in the Midwest as a material handling integrator with the acquisition. Its offerings include material handling, packaging, scales, robotics and engineering in the divisions of system design, project management, mechanical engineering, robotic engineering and programming/controls. According to the release, RMH Systems is a third-generation business founded in 1898.
