Cedar Rapids-based Rockwell Collins Inc. reported a 12 percent jump in fiscal fourth-quarter earnings last Friday, led by climbing sales in both its government and commercial divisions. The company’s net income climbed to $150 million, or 94 cents per share, for the three months ended Sept. 30 from $134 million, or 84 cents per share, a year ago. That matched the average forecast from analysts, according to Thomson Reuters. The company left its revenue outlook for 2011 unchanged, expecting $4.8 billion to $5 billion. Analysts are looking for $4.96 billion, on average.
