Rules committee approves increase in secretary of state fees
The Iowa Administrative Rules Review Committee has decided to let proposed fees charged by the secretary of state’s office go into effect. The Iowa Association of Business and Industry reported that the group successfully lobbied to make sure the money goes to planned technology improvements, and not to elections or other expenses.
