Sauer-Danfoss hires new CEO

Ames-based Sauer-Danfoss Inc. announced today that Eric Alstrom has been appointed president, CEO and director, effective Oct. 5. Alstrom, 46, has 20 years of experience in the automotive industry.

Ames-based Sauer-Danfoss Inc. announced today that Eric Alstrom has been appointed president, CEO and director, effective Oct. 5. Alstrom, 46, has 20 years of experience in the automotive industry.

He will take over for Sven Ruder, who announced his resignation effective Oct. 5. Sauer-Danfoss designs, manufactures and sells engineered hydraulic and electronic systems and components for use in mobile equipment.
