Sauer-Danfoss reports loss in sales
Ames-based Sauer-Danfoss Inc. reported a decline of 8 percent in net sales of its mobile hydraulics for the second quarter, over the second quarter of 2011.
When adjusted for changes in translation rates, the company said the decline is closer to 3 percent, according to a release.
“The large drop in our Asia-Pacific sales is comparable to the decline reported last quarter and continues to be amplified by the comparison with very strong sales of a year ago in China before the markets slowed swiftly in the second half of last year,” said President and CEO Sven Ruder, in a release.
