The U.S. Small Business Administration will hold a series of free financing forums at the end of this month for existing and startup businesses. The forums will be held in four locations throughout the state, including Des Moines and West Des Moines on June 23. Forums also will be held in Mason City and Ames on June 24 and 25, respectively. For businesses, lenders, and others interested in learning how to finance a business, forums will include presentations from the Iowa Small Business Development Centers, SCORE and the Women’s Business Center. They will also feature presentations and a panel discussion from representatives of the SBA, banks, SBA certified development companies and an SBA microlender. Seating for the sessions is limited.
