Science Center of Iowa hosts Innovators Challenge
The Science Center of Iowa (SCI) is partnering with the CarMax Foundation and KaBOOM to host an Innovators Challenge on National STEM Day on Friday. Through the Future Innovators Program, SCI was awarded a Ragamajig large-scale building kit to encourage experiential play building. During the Innovators Challenge, CarMax associates will serve as coaches to help children and families build unique designs with the Rigamajig. Opening remarks will start at 5:30 p.m., and the Innovators Challenge will run from 6-7 p.m. at SCI.
