Second GuacUp event scheduled
Local blogger Emily Beckmann has organized her second GuacUp. The networking event, which is scheduled to take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Dos Rios Cantina & Tequila Lounge, 316 Court Ave., was planned to encourage social interactions around food and to support local restaurants. In September, Beckmann, director of marketing and communication with the Children’s Cancer Connection, attracted about 60 people with her first GuacUp.
